During this 5 week we will cover making & printing your Collagraph plate using the etching press.
You will Create unique colour layered prints using a variety of textural materials and mark making. You will learn how to create a textural cardboard plate, Collagraph, that you can use many times to make individual and creative prints. The course will cover printing your plate in intaglio. Using a variety of inking methods including viscosity inking stenciling & mono printing to get the most from your plate. We will use the etching press at New Brewery Arts to print the plates. You will also be shown how you could hand print your plates at home
