Sessions are mostly on a Monday morning 09:30 - 10:45 am in Stockland (Near Honiton)

This programme has been designed with the purpose of developing the next generation of athletes. It’s an inclusive curriculum based programme consisting of exercises & games to help promote learning, confidence and health and wellbeing.
The programme structure consists of 4 parts including physical conditioning, running, jumping & throwing and is delivered through weekly sessions. All sessions have an emphasis on having fun to promote learning and personal growth.
A typical 75-minute weekly session would consist of the following agenda
Welcome & Briefing
Warm Up including a game, static and dynamic routines
Activity 1: Physical Conditioning
Activity 2: Sprinting
Activity 3: Throwing eg Javelin
Activity 4: Endurance Run eg 3k run
Cool Down eg stretching
Feedback and Close
The overall goal is for the athletes to learn the fundamental skills from the 365 syllabus that is not only applicable to Athletics but to other sports as well. The programme also includes a recognition and rewards scheme which will be given to athletes that reach the required technical and/or behavioural standard.
